Webcam modeling refers to a performer working in front of a computer with a webcam interacting and performing for your clients. You also need a room where you can be alone without distractions – you cannot get interrupted by anything when a member is paying to chat with you. How Do I Get Paid | What Do I Get Paid For?

How Much Can I Earn?

How much you earn depends on the amount of work you put into modeling. Working 4 to 8 hours a day can often make you as much as $1000 to $4000 a week. Performing part time will earn you less, but again, it all depends on how much you work and how much effort you put into pleasing your clients. We typically find that part-time workers spending 20 hours a week on camera earn from $250 to $500 in extra income per week.

 

What Does it Usually Take to Get Started on a Site? (The Application Process)

Initially we will ask you for a username and password, and some simple details such as your name, age, and address. After doing that, you will have to submit a copy of a valid photo ID. Typically your driver’s license or passport is used. You will also fill out your personal details to fill out your profile, including your age, height, eye color, sexual preference, and so on. If you have the copies of your ID cards already, the process will take about 24 hours. If you don’t try a friend’s house or your local Fedex, Kinkos, Staples etc.. should be able to do it at minimal cost to you.

What’s the Best Way to Make Money?

First – make a schedule and stick to it. It takes personal organization to make time for making money as a webcam model. While you can make money signing on whenever you feel like it, you can make even more by having a schedule and sticking to it. Also, some sites will post a schedule for you so that members can come back and see you (and pay you) again and again.

Secondly – try to empathize with your audience. They are there to see you because you are attractive to them and they want to interact with you. Take some time to actually feel for what they want from you. They could just want someone to talk to or vent to, or someone to act out there fantasy, or just want an online friend.

Lastly - be open to doing things you may not do regularly. Your customers may want you to perform something or say something you don't normally do. For instance, let's say you never talk dirty. Your customers may want to hear that! Just try if you feel comfortable with it! Being open to new things will attract more customers to you and make you appeal to a wider audience.

Can I Do Something While I Chat?

Yes! You can study, read a book, surf, email... whatever! It's a good idea to keep whatever you're doing off-screen though (i.e. don't let people see you're reading a book), and don't neglect chatting with your clients.
